It was a hot 4th of July . . . and when we say hot . . . we really, really mean hot! Members of the Brazos Valley A's Model A Club of Texas drove from Bryan - College Station to Round Top, Texas to participate in the 4th of July parade.

It is not unusual to see 6,000 to 8,000 people drive to the little town, with a population of 81, on this patriotic holiday, and stand several lines deep to watch the parade of floats, cheering kids, tractors, bands, long horn steers, Model Ts and Model As pass in front of them. When the cannon fires at 10 A.M., the parade participants are off on their quest to thrill the onlookers and then file into the Rifle Hall after the parade for some good 'ol Texas bar-be-cue.

This year, the Brazos Valley Model A Club and the Texas Touring Ts made the journey together . . . and as the old saying goes . . . a fun time was had by all.
