RAY'S PARTS AND TOOLS LIST FOR TOURING

For a long solo trip, I take the following:

• Carb
• Generator/alternator
• Starter
• Distributor
• Water pump
• Lots of small parts (points, plugs, etc.)
• Axle shims
• Tire tube
• Fan belt
• Electrical wire and electrical tape
• Light bulbs
• Gasket material to make one if needed and black silicone to make a quick gasket
• Front wheel bearings
• Extra oil, water and grease
• Good set of tools and torque wrench

This list will probably get you to the next town.
